Hey everyone!
Yesterday I received my mission call. I'm so excited to serve the children of the Lord in the beautiful country of Finland. I hope to be able to well relay my experiences with you. I'll use this blog to give updates on my mission preparation and then pass it on to my parents to publish my group emails after I enter the MTC. The important stuff: I'm serving in Helsinki, Finland; I'm speaking Finnish; I report to the Provo MTC on 4 October 2017; and I can't wait to go. :)
Until next time, hyvää päivänjatkoa! (That means 'have a good day'. It's one of about three phrases I know so far.)
Veli Hancock
(Veli means Brother, by the way, and Vanhin means Elder. So for now, we're sticking with Veli)
